We specialize in stainless steel, aluminum, bronze, and glass stair rails, guardrails, and handrails; however, our scope of work also includes column enclosures, escalator and power-walkway cladding, elevator interiors and lobbies, interior wall panels, beam and soffit cladding, grilles, sunshades, canopies, kiosks, and custom fixtures.
Southwest Metalsmiths, Inc. is a full-service company. We offer budget planning and estimating assistance, value engineering and design/build services, CAD detailing and engineering, certified structural engineering calculations, field survey and layout coordination, fabrication, and installation for all of our work.

Design / Build
We offer start to finish design build services assisting in the design process and eliminating the time consuming and costly process of bidding a project.
Structural Engineering
Our structural engineer is licensed in all 48 contiguous states. We engineer everything we build to meet all applicable building code requirements.
CAD Detailing
Our submittal drawings are professionally produced on the latest version of Autocad. Our detailing staff works with the project manager to assure our submittals are accurate.
Field Measurements
Our project managers and field superintendents verify all fabrication drawing dimensions and existing construction conditions prior to building your project.
Fabrication
We fabricate our products to the greatest extent possible in the shop, which minimizes the variables and improves our quality. However, some field fabrication is unavoidable.
Installation
We have the best installers in the specialty metal business. We install a broad range of products, so our team has been cross-trained with many trade skills.
Project Management
The overseer of planning and executing a project has the authority to make real time decisions.
Personal Attention
If you have questions, we provide the answers. We understand that problems will arise with projects and will need immediate attention.
Close-out Documents
As-built drawings, warranties, and maintenance manuals are provided.
Safety Program
Our Company is committed to safety in the workplace and has an established safety program with an ongoing training program for all shop and installation crews.
