Southwest Metalsmiths began this transformation in 2016 and wrapped up in December 2017, replacing the original fencing with custom stainless-steel waterjet cut post fins, and custom designed glass clip attachments with our SMI-800 extruded aluminum 8″ base shoe design for a wet glaze anchoring condition for the 1″ thick tempered laminate windscreen glass.
Southwest Metalsmiths then designed their own LED lighted handrail system to be able to bring a more schedule and cost-effective solution for the project. This project is meant to showcase our expertise in pedestrian bridgework and attention to detail in high-traffic public spaces.
